About the Role

The best Working Foremen don't just manage the job—they help build it. Max People is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Working Foreman to join a well-established construction team delivering quality commercial projects across Christchurch. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, mentoring their crew, and staying actively involved in the day-to-day construction work.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll oversee daily site activities, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. From structural work through to final fit-outs, you'll play a key role in delivering quality commercial builds while setting the standard for workmanship, productivity, and teamwork.

If you're an experienced carpenter or Leading Hand ready to take the next step—or an established Working Foreman looking for your next challenge—we'd love to hear from you.
