The Opportunity We’re on the lookout for anexperienced farm workerto join this well-run dairy farm situated in Temuka. The role offers genuine variety — lots of tractor work, assisting with milking and general farm operations.

‍

Roles and Responsibilities

• Tractor work — topping, sowing, spreading, spraying and cultivation
• Feeding out silage, baleage, or hay
• Spreading mineral supplements
• General stock work
• Assisting with dairy operations, milking up to 700 cows
• Supporting calving and ensuring the health of newborn calves
• Supporting the team during the busiest season (July - December)
• Maintaining farm equipment, infrastructure, laneways and tracks
• Adhering to farm safety and compliance standards

Role Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in tractor work (stock work experience an advantage)
• Strong English and communication skills
• Good attitude, willingness to learn and take feedback
• Physically fit and healthy
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Full vehicle license
• Visa that allows you to work for the same employer for 6 months
