STMS Civil Labourer | Christchurch

We’re looking for an STMS Civil Labourer to join a busy Christchurch civil team for a 5-month fixed-term assignment starting in September.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows their way around a civil site, takes safety seriously and isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be helping keep the site safe, tidy and moving in the right direction – because cones don’t place themselves!

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out civil labouring duties across the site
• Supporting traffic management operations
• Helping maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Following site safety procedures and instructions
• Working effectively as part of a wider civil crew
• Keeping the site clean, tidy and hazard-free
• Pitching in wherever needed to help keep the job on track

What We Require

• Current STMS ticket – essential
• Site Safe – required
• WTR endorsement would be an advantage
• Good understanding of civil site safety
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Own transport to get to site is preferred
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
