About The Role:
We are currently seeking experienced structural steel erectors and riggers for immediate placement on a major project in Christchurch City Centre.

Our client is one of the leading suppliers and erectors of structural steel in the South Island. They have completed numerous projects over several decades, including iconic landmarks such as Southland Stadium, Forsythe Barr Stadium, Burwood Hospital, and Christchurch Convention Centre.

‍What You Will Be Doing:‍

• Installation of structural steelwork.
• Rigging tasks as required.
• Working at heights when necessary.
• Site measurement and interpretation of working drawings.
• Problem-solving issues that may arise on site.
• Working with Cranes and Hiab.

‍What We Require:‍

• Proven at least 3 years erecting experience as a Rigger or Steel Erector.
• Have WAH (Working at Heights) and Safety and Harness certifications.
• New Zealand qualifications or welding tickets.
• Current EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket required.
• Good command of the English language.
• Steel Installers hand tools
• Dogman ticket.
• Class 1 DL and reliable transport
• Be reliable, trustworthy, and team player.
• A good level of physical fitness
• Strong awareness for all things H&S
• Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
