About the Role

We're looking for reliable, hardworking Residential Labourers to join a busy Christchurch building team delivering quality homes across the region. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in every stage of the build, supporting experienced builders while gaining valuable construction experience along the way.

From site preparation and heavy lifting through to assisting with framing, materials handling, and general building tasks, no two days are the same. If you enjoy working outdoors, like keeping busy, and want the opportunity to learn from experienced tradespeople, this is a great chance to build your skills while enjoying consistent, ongoing work.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assisting builders with day-to-day construction tasks
• Site preparation and keeping projects running smoothly
• Loading, unloading, and moving building materials
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Supporting framing, roofing, and general construction work
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe worksite
• Helping the wider crew wherever required

What We Require

• Physically fit and happy to work in a hands-on environment
• At least one year's labouring or construction experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools is an advantage
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe (or willingness to obtain—we can help)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
