About the Role

Working across dairy farms throughout Canterbury, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduled servicing and maintenance of refrigeration systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Carrying out repairs and breakdown work
  • Installation and commissioning of refrigeration equipment
  • Providing rostered emergency call-out support
  • Maintaining accurate service records using mobile technology
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team on new installations and upgrades
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
  • Travelling to client sites throughout Canterbury

Refrigeration Technician

$28 - $34 per hour

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' refrigeration or air conditioning experience
  • Relevant Refrigeration and Air Conditioning qualification preferred
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full drivers license
  • Good written and spoken English

Senior Refrigeration Technician

$39 - $45 per hour

This role is suited to highly experienced technicians looking to take the next step in their career.Additional Requirements

  • 5+ years' refrigeration industry experience
  • Proven experience leading jobs and mentoring junior technicians
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and dairy refrigeration systems
  • Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capability
  • Ability to manage installations from start to finish
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and make technical decisions on-site
