Qualified Electricians | Twizel

Max People are looking for 2 x Qualified Electricians to join a busy team working across residential and commercial projects in Twizel.

You’ll be involved in a varied mix of electrical work, from renovations and upgrades through to installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance.

We’re looking for electricians who take pride in their work, know their trade and can confidently get on with the job. If you like variety and don’t mind getting stuck in, this could be a great opportunity.

‍What You’ll Be Doing

• Residential and commercial electrical work
• Electrical installations for renovations and upgrades
• Installing and replacing lights, downlights, switches and power points
• Wiring and rewiring as required
• Fault finding, repairs and maintenance
• Installing and connecting electrical appliances and equipment
• Testing and verifying completed electrical work
• Reading plans and coordinating with builders and other trades
• Completing required electrical documentation and certification
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working in line with NZ electrical and health & safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

• NZ Registered Electrician
• Current Practising Licence
• Good residential and/or commercial electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a construction team
• Good communication skills
• Full NZ Driver Licence
• Own vehicle required
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
