Qualified Carpenter | Multi-Unit Residential

About The Role

‍We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join a skilled crew delivering high-quality multi-unit residential developments across Christchurch.

You’ll be working on modern townhouse and multi-unit residential builds, completing a variety of carpentry tasks from framing through to finishing work.

This role will suit a carpenter who is confident working independently, can manage their own workload, and consistently delivers quality results.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working as part of a professional team, and is looking for a role where their skills are valued.

• $32–$35 per hour depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing

• Carrying out residential carpentry across multi-unit developments
• Completing framing, fit-out, and finishing carpentry work
• Reading and working from plans
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a professional crew

What We Require

• Qualified Carpenter (NZ qualification or recognised equivalent)
• Proven residential construction experience (multi-unit experience highly regarded)
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own tasks
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
