About The Role

Max People are looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join a skilled and professional crew delivering high-quality multi-unit residential developments across Christchurch.

You'll be working on modern townhouses and multi-unit builds, with the opportunity to work across different stages of construction—from framing and structural work through to fit-out and finishing.

This is a hands-on role suited to a carpenter who can work confidently on their own, manage their workload, read plans, and consistently produce quality work without someone looking over their shoulder every five minutes.

With a strong pipeline of projects ahead, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term, consistent work while developing your career. For the right person, there is also genuine opportunity to progress into Leading Hand and Foreman roles.

If you take pride in your workmanship, enjoy being part of a good crew, and like seeing a quality build come together from start to finish, we'd like to hear from you.

  • $32–$35 per hour, depending on experience
  • Weekly pay
  • Long-term, secure work with a strong pipeline of projects
