About The Role

We've got several Christchurch clients looking for experienced Painters as spring gets underway, with plenty of work on the horizon.

We're looking for painters with genuine industry experience — you don't have to be trade qualified for every role, but you must know your way around the tools and have solid hands-on painting experience.

Trade-qualified Painters are definitely encouraged to apply.

There's a mix of industrial, commercial and residential work, so no two days need to look exactly the same. If you take pride in a tidy finish, know how to prep properly and don't need someone explaining which end of the brush to hold, we want to hear from you!

‍What’s In It For You

• $28–$32/hr based on experience
• Long-term work with established Christchurch companies
• A mix of residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Spring work with ongoing opportunities

What You Will Be Doing

• Interior and exterior painting
• Surface preparation, sanding, stopping and priming
• Rolling, brushing and spraying
• Residential repaints and new builds
• Commercial and industrial painting
• Working independently and as part of a crew
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
• Producing a quality finish you're happy to put your name to

What We Require

• Painting industry experience is essential
• Trade qualification preferred
• Good understanding of preparation and painting techniques
• Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transport
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
