About The Role:
Calling skilled Maintenance Plumbers! This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings, including hot water cylinders. Work with copper, stainless steel, gas pipe, and more on exciting projects across Christchurch. Our Client has ongoing work in the residential space across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region.
Wages: $34.00 to $40.00 depending on experience

What You Will Be Doing:
- All aspects of residential plumbing and repairs
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Install hot water cylinders
- Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing problems
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and carpenters, on building projects
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Work with copper pipe, stainless steel, gas pipe, plastic, and other materials on a large commercial project in town
- Quality checks
- Operate various hand tools and equipment efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
What We Require:
- Proven experience as a plumber/pipefitter 5 + years in the industry
- Valid plumbing license or certification (for registered and certified plumbers)
- Excellent knowledge of plumbing systems and materials and sourcing relevant products & supplies
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a love of dealing with people/customers
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong awareness for all things H&S
- Class 1 Drivers License
- Reliable transport
- Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
