Line Mechanics - Relocate to Western Australia

About The Role

‍Max People are partnering with a family-owned powerline construction company in Western Australia, seeking experienced Line Mechanics / Linesmen from New Zealand to join their team in Kalgoorlie.

• AUD $45–$55 per hour + overtime rates
• Up to AUD $15,000 relocation allowance

What You Will Be Doing

• Powerline construction, installation, and maintenance
• Working on distribution overhead networks & infrastructure
• Safe climbing, rescue, and MEWP operations
• Supporting a strong culture of safety and teamwork
• Exposure to tree work/vegetation clearance a plus

What We Require

• Qualified Line Mechanic / Linesman – minimum 6 months post-trade
• NZ Certificate in Electricity Supply (Line Mechanic Distribution, Level 4) or equivalent
• Experience with LV/HV distribution networks up to 66kV
• Skilled in installing & maintaining overhead conductors and poles
• Tree work/vegetation clearance experience highly regarded
• Willingness to relocate to Kalgoorlie, WA
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
