Lead Hand Carpenter - High-End Residential Renovation

About The Role:
We’re on the hunt for a skilled and motivated Lead Hand Carpenter to join a high-performing team working on a full renovation of a multimillion-dollar home in Christchurch. Mid June start!

This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of day-to-day site operations while the Site Supervisor oversees multiple projects. You’ll lead the charge on-site – planning, organising, problem-solving, and keeping the job moving smoothly and on schedule.

Wages: $35.00 - $38.00– based on experience

Location: Christchurch

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading carpenters and labourers on a live site
• Planning and managing daily and weekly workflow
• Ensuring all labour, materials, and tools are ready to go
• Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Upholding quality and presentation standards
• Reporting to and collaborating with Site Supervisor & PM

What We Require:

• Strong carpentry and renovation experience
• Proven leadership and organisational skills
• Good communicator who keeps things calm and on track
• Sharp eye for detail and pride in site standards
• Keen to develop and grow in responsibility
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
