Lead Hand Carpenter | Commercial Site Champion Wanted!

About The Role:

We’re on the hunt for a skilled Lead Hand Carpenter to step up and take charge on a long-term commercial build in Christchurch. You’ll be hands-on, leading a small team and ensuring quality work across the board.

If you know your way around a site, can read plans like a pro, and are confident motivating a crew, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Running day-to-day carpentry tasks onsite
• Reading and working from plans to spec
• Mentoring and leading a small team
• Installing framing, formwork, fixings, and more

What We Require:

• Proven commercial carpentry experience
• Strong leadership or Leading Hand background
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused
• Shows up every day and gets stuck in
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
