About the Role

‍We’re seeking skilled Joiners and Cabinet Makers to join a well-established and expanding Christchurch-based joinery company. With a strong forward workload and ongoing projects secured, this business offers consistent work and long-term stability. You’ll be involved in the manufacture and installation of high-quality kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and wardrobes, working with premium materials and detailed plans. This role suits experienced tradespeople who take pride in precision, finish, and craftsmanship.

What You Will Be DoingCabinet Making & Joinery‍

• Machining components accurately
• Assembling and sanding cabinetry to a high standard
• Reading and interpreting drawings and plans
• Taking accurate site measurements
• Working with materials including MDF, solid timber, veneers, and acrylics

Joinery Installation‍

• Assisting with high-quality on-site installations
• Cutting, shaping, and fitting joinery components
• Applying professional joinery techniques throughout

What We Require

• Proven experience in cabinet making or joinery
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit for hands-on work
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Basic tool kit (cordless drills and hand tools required)
• Power tools and PPE supplied
• Solid understanding of health and safety practices
• Full Class 1 NZ driver licence
• Steel cap boots
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
