The Opportunity

Farm the world. Grow your future. Live your dream.

Through our new partnership with FRS Farm Relief Services in Ireland, Max People is giving eligible young Kiwis, New Zealand-based farm workers and eligible backpackers the opportunity to live and work on family-run Irish farms during the busy spring calving season.

Before applying, please take a moment to check that you meet the eligibility requirements for an Irish Working Holiday Visa and have the legal ability to work in Ireland. This programme is designed for applicants who can meet the relevant visa requirements, so we encourage you to research your eligibility before applying.

If you are eligible, this is your chance to gain international farming experience while living in one of the world's most beautiful countries.

Experience the Northern Hemisphere like never before — celebrate St Patrick's Day in Ireland, enjoy authentic Irish music, culture and legendary hospitality, and explore everything the Emerald Isle has to offer.

And when you're not working? Europe is right on your doorstep. A budget flight could see you sipping coffee in Paris, exploring castles in Scotland or relaxing on a Spanish beach. Not a bad way to spend your days off!

It's the perfect combination of farming experience, cultural immersion and adventure.
