‍About The Role

‍We’re looking for an experienced Industrial Painter / Coatings Applicator to join a specialist team delivering high-quality coatings across commercial and industrial projects throughout the South Island. Based in Christchurch, this role offers a great mix of workshop and on-site work, with opportunities to work away and build your skills in specialist coatings systems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Applying protective coatings to structural steel
• Assisting with passive fire protection (intumescent coatings)
• Surface preparation including abrasive blasting
• Working across both site and workshop environments
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards

What We Require

• Experience as an industrial painter or coatings applicator
• Knowledge of coating systems and surface preparation
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Reliable with good attention to detail
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
