The farm milks approximately 1,400 cows across 450 hectares and operates a 70-bale rotary shed with ACRs and Protrack. It is a year-round dairy farming system with modern infrastructure and a strong focus on efficient farming practices.

What You Will Be Doing
- Milking and supporting daily shed operations
- Monitoring herd health, condition and performance
- Assisting with general animal health and stock management
- Bringing in and moving stock
- Feeding and supporting day-to-day farm operations
- Assisting with irrigation and environmental farm practices
- Moving break fences and supporting pasture management
- Operating farm vehicles and equipment safely
- Completing general farm duties and maintenance as required
- Working alongside the wider team to maintain efficient farm systems and high standards of animal welfare
What We Require
- Minimum 1 year of previous dairy milking experience
- Previous experience milking cows is essential
- Good stock sense and confidence handling livestock
- Reliable, practical and willing to get stuck in
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and animal welfare
- Full driver's licence preferred
- Legal right to work in New Zealand
