We're looking for motivated Hammerhands and Apprentices to join a busy residential construction team building quality homes across Christchurch. Whether you're already working towards your qualification or have hands-on experience and want to take the next step, you'll be joining a crew that enjoys passing on knowledge and takes pride in producing work they're proud to put their name to.

From framing and fixing through to general construction tasks, you'll gain experience across a variety of residential projects while working alongside skilled tradespeople who are happy to share what they know. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, you'll enjoy the stability of ongoing employment and the opportunity to develop your skills on projects from start to finish.

What You Will Be Doing‍

• Assisting with residential framing and construction work
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Reading and following plans and instructions
• Supporting carpenters and site teams on daily tasks
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Taking pride in workmanship and learning new skills on the job

What We Require‍

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Residential construction experience preferred (not essential for apprentices)
• Own basic tools and reliable transport preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
