HAMMERHAND - WANAKA

We’re on the lookout for a reliable and experienced Hammerhand to join our crew in Wanaka, assisting with the construction of 10 new motel units. You’ll be working alongside a skilled carpenter, gaining hands-on experience across multiple stages of the build. This is a great opportunity to be part of a structured, long-term project with consistent hours.

‍The Role

• Assisting the carpenter with daily site tasks
• Soffit installation
• Framing support
• Basic concrete work
• Installing trims and skirting
• General carpentry labour and site support

‍

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ hammerhand or carpentry experience preferred
• Confident using power tools
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Own basic tools and reliable transport preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
