About The Role

‍‍‍Max People are seeking an experienced and reliable Hammerhand to join our client’s construction team based in the Auckland Airport precinct. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with consistent long-term work for the right candidate.

You will be working with an established and professional construction crew on a range of commercial projects in a safety-focused environment.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assisting with general site works and construction tasks
• Supporting formwork, framing, cladding, and concrete work
• Site preparation, clean-up, and general labouring duties
• Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively as part of a team

What We Require

• Minimum 1–2 years’ relevant hammerhand or construction experience preferred
• Ability to undertake a wide range of site tasks
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious attitude
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe (assistance available if required)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean criminal record
• Physically fit and able to work in a construction environment
