Formworkers & Hammerhands - South Island Projects

About The Role

‍Max People are looking for experienced Formworkers and Hammerhands to join crews on large-scale projects across the South Island. You’ll be hands-on with formwork, reinforcing, and concrete pours, working with a supportive team on long-term builds. Expect away work (2 weeks at a time) with food and accommodation provided.

• $29 – $34 per hour (experience based)

What You Will Be Doing

• Building, erecting, and stripping formwork
• Installing reinforcing and prepping concrete pours
• Reading drawings and ensuring levels/grades are correct
• Using hand and power tools (must have your own)

‍

What We Require

• Proven formwork/carpentry experience
• Ability to read drawings & plans
• Skilled in reinforcing and concrete pours
• Full Class 1 licence (bonus: WTR endorsement)
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can help with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
