Formworker | Major Civil Project

About The Role

Max People are looking for experienced Formworkers to join a respected civil contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in Warkworth, Auckland. This project is a key part of the Warkworth wastewater upgrade, helping support future growth while reducing wet weather overflows into the Mahurangi River and harbour. You’ll be working on a well-organised site alongside an experienced team, contributing to a project that will have a lasting impact on the local community. We are seeking reliable workers with solid experience across formwork, reinforcing steel (reo), and concrete who are looking for long-term, stable work.

What You Will Be Doing‍

• Installing, setting out, and stripping formwork
• Working with Doka, Peri, and traditional systems
• Tying and placing reinforcing steel (reo)
• Assisting with concrete pours and finishing
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite

What We Require‍

• Proven experience in formwork on civil or infrastructure projects
• Strong reo and concrete experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean criminal record preferred
