Experienced Drainlayer | Christchurch

Max People are looking for an experienced Drainlayer to join the team at Ryan Contractors, working across a range of civil and drainage projects throughout Christchurch.

You’ll be hands-on with stormwater, wastewater and watermain installations, working alongside a capable crew to deliver quality work safely and efficiently.

‍What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing stormwater, wastewater and watermain systems
• Reading plans and working from drawings and specifications
• Carrying out general civil drainage work
• Working independently and alongside the wider crew
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Drainlayer in civil construction
• Solid knowledge of stormwater, wastewater and watermain installation
• Ability to read plans and work confidently from drawings
• A good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Relevant tickets, licences or industry qualifications are an advantage
• Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in producing quality work
• A team player who can also work independently
