Max People is recruiting on behalf of Calder Group for two experienced Carpenters to join the construction of a major processing plant in Edendale, just 30 minutes from Invercargill. This significant commercial project is scheduled to continue through the remainder of 2026, offering the stability of long-term work alongside the opportunity to be part of a build that will have a lasting impact on the region.

You'll work across a variety of construction stages, including concrete formwork, structural work, and general commercial carpentry, alongside experienced crews who take pride in delivering quality workmanship safely and efficiently. What You Will Be Doing

• Concrete formwork and construction work
• Supporting structural steel and iron installation
• General commercial carpentry duties
• General site construction work
• Working alongside experienced commercial construction crews
• Completing work safely and to a high standard
• Supporting wider site activities where required

What We Require

• Minimum 5 years' commercial construction experience
• Strong background working with concrete, steel, and iron
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
• Reliable, safety-focused, and hardworking attitude
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid NZ working rights
