‍ Max People are looking for experienced Carpenters to join a growing residential construction team working across Christchurch.

You'll be involved in a variety of projects including new builds, renovations, and insurance repair work, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to use your skills across different stages of residential construction.

You'll be joining a reliable, hardworking crew that takes pride in quality workmanship, keeps the sites organised, and backs each other to deliver. Whether you're framing, working through finishing stages, or tackling something unexpected along the way, your experience and eye for detail will be valued.

‍What You Will Be Doing

• Framing, formwork, and general residential carpentry
• Working across new builds and renovation projects
• Completing insurance repair and reinstatement work
• Reading and working from plans and specifications
• Setting out and measuring accurately
• Working alongside site managers and other trades
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised worksites
• Delivering quality workmanship from start to finish

What We Require

• Proven carpentry experience, preferably within residential construction
• Strong practical knowledge of residential building methods
• Ability to confidently read and work from plans
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Site Safe preferred – we can assist with this
• Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
