What You Will Be Doing:

  • Reading and interpreting plans.
  • Excavating trenches and preparing sites.
  • Installing drainage pipes, manholes, catch basins, and other drainage structures.
  • Connecting drainage systems to sewer lines, septic tanks, or stormwater management systems.
  • Testing drainage systems for leaks, blockages, or other defects.
  • Operating and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment used in drainlaying work, including excavators, pipe cutters, and compaction machinery.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional conduct while interacting with clients and other team members.

What We Require:

  • Proven experience as a drainlayer.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses, such as a drainlaying license or trade qualification, preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of drainage system components, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Wheels Tracks Rollers
  • Strong awareness for all things H&S
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Valid Site Safe and or Construct Safe - we can assist with this
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
