Drainage & Fuel Pipe Installer | South Island

Max People are recruiting experienced Drainage & Fuel Pipe Installers to join a specialist contractor delivering underground fuel infrastructure and civil projects throughout the South Island.

‍You’ll be hands-on across a range of underground infrastructure projects, with a focus on fuel pipework, drainage and associated installations.

‍You’ll be responsible for:‍

• Installing underground fuel pipe systems
• Installing stormwater and sewer drainage
• Working with PE, HDPE and PVC pipework
• Pressure testing and commissioning
• Installing pits, chambers and monitoring systems
• Reading plans and setting out works
• Working safely around live underground services
• Assisting with underground tank installations
• Completing quality and site documentation
• Maintaining excellent health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

‍We’re keen to hear from people with:

• Experience in drainage, pipeline or underground services installation
• Fuel pipework experience – highly regarded
• PE welding or electrofusion experience – advantageous
• Ability to read plans and work from set-out
• WTR endorsement – advantageous
• Class 2 licence – preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A practical, safety-focused approach
• Flexibility and willingness to work away from home
