About The Role

Build specialist skills on projects most tradies never get the chance to work on. Max People is recruiting on behalf of a respected specialist civil contractor for experienced Drainage & Fuel Pipe Installers to deliver underground fuel infrastructure projects across the South Island.

This is far more than standard drainage work. You'll install underground fuel systems, PE, HDPE, and PVC pipework, drainage infrastructure, and associated monitoring systems across commercial, industrial, and fuel infrastructure sites.

Working alongside experienced crews, you'll be involved in everything from setting out and pipe installation through to pressure testing, commissioning, and underground tank installations.

The role is Christchurch-based and operates on a two-week away roster. You'll typically leave on Monday morning, return home on the Friday at the end of the second week, and enjoy the middle Sunday off—all while travel, accommodation, and away allowances are covered.

If you enjoy variety, like learning specialist skills, and don't mind spending a couple of weeks on the road with a good crew, this is a career-building opportunity.
