DAIRY FARM WORKERS | MID CANTERBURY

We're looking for 3 Dairy Farm Workers to join a modern, well-managed dairy operation near Ashburton.

Whether you're looking for a few months of summer work or wanting to stay on for the rest of the season, we've got options!

The farm milks approximately 1,050 cows through a 54-bail rotary dairy, equipped with ACRs, an automatic backing gate and AI technology. With 4 centre pivots and K-Line irrigation, this is a well-equipped operation with a motivated team and plenty of variety.

You'll be working across the main dairy platform and two lease blocks, with the farm managing its own young stock and wintering.

• 5 days on / 2 days off
• 45–50 hours per week

What's involved?‍

• Milking 1,050 cows through a 54-bail rotary with ACRs
• General farm duties including bringing in stock, fencing and feeding out
• Irrigation and effluent management using pivots and K-Line
• Supporting calving and young stock management
• Maintaining high standards of farm hygiene and animal welfare
• Working alongside the team to keep the operation running smoothly

What we're looking for:‍

• Previous dairy or livestock experience preferred
• A willingness to learn and get stuck into all aspects of farm work
• Good English and communication skills
• Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic about outdoor work
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand (AEWV sponsorship is not available)
