‍Located in Winton, Southland, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a tidy, well-established family farm that's been operating for over 30 years. With 850 cows across 320 ha, the property features a rotary shed with ACRs, Protrack, and newly installed Allflex collars, giving real-time data to enhance animal management and productivity.You'll join a hardworking, supportive team that values a positive attitude and teamwork, working in a modern, well-equipped environment.

‍Details:‍

• Start Date: Immediate or by arrangement
• Permanent Role
• Accommodation Provided
• Roster: 6 days on, 2 off

Tasks:‍

• Milking 850 cows in a rotary shed with ACRs and Protrack
• Supporting herd health, monitoring, and data management via Allflex collars
• Assisting with feeding, fencing, and general farm maintenance
• Operating K-Line and pod irrigation systems
• Using tractors and machinery for daily operations and feed-out tasks

Requirements:‍

• Minimum 1 years' dairy farming experience
• Competent milking in rotary sheds
• Irrigation and tractor experience an advantage
• Good English and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Legal right to work in New Zealand (AEWV not available for this role)
