Class 5 Civil Driver | Canterbury

About The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 5 Driver to support civil construction projects across Canterbury. This is a great opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and wants consistent work with a well-organised civil team.

You will be responsible for operating Class 5 trucks transporting materials to and from civil construction sites. You will work closely with site supervisors and machine operators to ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

What You Will Be Doing‍

• Operating Class 5 trucks on civil construction sites
• Transporting aggregates, soil, and construction materials
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
• Following all site safety procedures and traffic management plans

What We Require‍

• Full NZ Class 5 Driver Licence
• Previous civil or construction site experience preferred
• Experience operating tipper trucks is advantageous
• Strong understanding of site safety
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
