Class 4 Driver / Labourer | Landscaping

Max People are looking for a reliable Class 4 Driver / Labourer to join a busy landscaping company in Christchurch.

The main part of your role will be Class 4 driving, transporting materials and equipment to and from various sites.

When the truck is parked up, we’re looking for someone who is happy to jump out, get their boots dirty and help the landscaping crew on the ground. No sitting in the cab pretending you’re waiting for the next load!

This is a great role for someone who enjoys a bit of variety and likes staying busy.

‍What You’ll Be Doing

• Driving Class 4 trucks to and from landscaping sites
• Transporting materials, equipment and supplies
• Loading and unloading as required
• Assisting the landscaping crew when not driving
• Carrying out general physical labouring duties
• Helping keep sites clean, tidy and organised
• Working safely around other workers, vehicles and equipment
• Supporting the wider team to get the job done

What We’re Looking For

• Current NZ Class 4 Driver Licence
• Previous truck driving experience
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfortable doing physical labour when required
• Happy working as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Safety-focused and switched on
• Landscaping or civil experience would be an advantage
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
