Civil Machine Operator - Christchurch

The Role

Max People are seeking skilled Civil Machine Operators with experience on excavators, scrapers, dozers, and graders. This is a long-term opportunity to join major projects across Canterbury and the wider South Island. We’re looking for operators who can deliver results, keep gear in top condition, and are just as willing to jump off the machine and help out the crew when needed.

What You Will Be Doing‍

• Operating excavators, scrapers, dozers, and graders
• Assisting on site when required
• Meeting production targets safely and efficiently
• Maintaining machinery to a high standard
• Supporting and leading crews when needed

What We Require‍

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in civil machinery operation
• Class 1–4 driver’s licence preferred
• WTR endorsements
• Site Safe (we can help organise this)
• Strong focus on health & safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
