Civil Labourer | WTR & Dump Truck

Max People are looking for a reliable Civil Labourer to join a busy Christchurch civil crew from mid-October through to late February.

We’re after someone with WTR endorsements and previous dump truck experience who is just as happy jumping out of the truck and getting stuck into general civil labouring when required.

This is a hands-on role for someone who likes to stay busy and doesn’t mind getting their boots dirty. If you can drive the truck, help the crew and keep the job moving, you’ll fit right in.

‍What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating dump trucks as required
• Carrying out general civil labouring duties
• Assisting with earthworks and site preparation
• Jumping between machine operation and ground work
• Supporting the wider civil crew
• Working safely around machinery and other site personnel
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Pitching in wherever needed to keep the job moving

What We’re Looking For

• Previous civil labouring experience
• WTR endorsements
• Previous dump truck operating experience
• Comfortable switching between operating and labouring
• Reliable and punctual
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Safety-focused and switched on
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
