Civil Labourer / Operator | Dunedin

Max People are looking for Skilled Civil Labourers and experienced Civil Operators for an upcoming project in Dunedin, starting in approximately 5–6 weeks.

We’re speaking with good people now who want to get their next civil role lined up before the project kicks off.

This will be hands-on civil work with an experienced crew. If you’re an operator, we’re looking for someone who is happy to jump out of the machine and get stuck in with the crew on the ground when required – because the best operators know the job doesn’t stop at the cab door!

‍What You’ll Be Doing

‍Depending on your experience, you could be involved in:

• Operating civil machinery
• General civil labouring
• Site preparation and earthworks
• Supporting the wider site crew
• Assisting with day-to-day civil construction activities
• Moving between operating and ground-based work as required
• Working safely and productively as part of the team

What We’re Looking For

• Solid civil construction experience
• WTR endorsements preferred
• Experienced machinery operators
• Civil labourers with a strong understanding of site work
• Operators willing to assist with ground work when required
• Reliable and hardworking
• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work well within a team
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
