CIVIL LABOURER | DRAINAGE & CIVIL WORKS

About The Role

‍We’re on the lookout for hardworking Civil Labourers who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You’ll be joining a well-established civil contractor delivering a range of drainage and infrastructure projects across Christchurch. This is a physically active, hands-on role where no two days are the same. One day you might be working in trenches, the next supporting site prep or helping the crew push a project over the line. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a tight-knit crew, and seeing the results of your hard work – this could be the role for you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assisting with drainage, earthworks, and civil construction
• Supporting trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
• Working in deep and wet ground conditions
• General labouring and supporting the wider crew
• Following all health and safety procedures on site

What We Require

• Previous civil or construction experience preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to handle physically demanding work
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
