About The Role

‍Max People are recruiting for an experienced Civil Foreman to join a growing residential construction company based in Christchurch.This role will see you leading crews across residential subdivision and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.You'll be responsible for supervising day-to-day civil operations on site, coordinating labour and subcontractors, and ensuring projects remain on programme. This position suits someone who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering quality civil works.

What You Will Be Doing

• Leading and supervising civil crews on residential projects
• Coordinating site activities and daily workflow
• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Maintaining strong health & safety standards on site
• Managing machinery, materials, and subcontractors
• Ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards
• Communicating effectively with management and clients
• Supporting site productivity and project delivery targets

What We Require‍

• Previous experience in a Civil Foreman role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in residential civil construction and subdivisions
• Ability to manage crews and maintain productivity
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements
• WTR endorsements and Class 2 or Class 4 licence desirable
• Reliable, motivated, and able to lead by example
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Valid NZ working rights
