Carpenter | Commercial Build | Christchurch

Max People are looking for a reliable and experienced Carpenter to join a good team working on a commercial build in Christchurch.

We’re after someone who knows their trade, can work independently and doesn’t need someone standing over their shoulder all day. If you turn up ready to work, get stuck in and take pride in doing the job properly, this could be a great fit.

‍What You’ll Be Doing

• Commercial carpentry work across the project
• Working independently and managing your own tasks
• Working alongside the wider construction team
• Reading plans and following project requirements
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Keeping your work area safe, tidy and organised
• Pitching in and helping the team when required

What We’re Looking For

• Proven commercial carpentry experience
• Confident working unsupervised
• Able to organise and manage your own workload
• Reliable and punctual – turn up, get stuck in and get the job done
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Own basic carpentry tools
• Own reliable transport
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug test
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
