We're looking for experienced Carpenters to join a skilled construction team delivering Wanaka's newest McDonald's. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial build where your craftsmanship will be on display for years to come.

From structural framing through to finishing work, you'll be involved in a variety of carpentry tasks while working alongside an experienced crew that values quality workmanship, teamwork, and getting the details right. With ongoing work and consistent hours, you'll have the opportunity to sharpen your skills, contribute to a project you can genuinely be proud of, and enjoy the lifestyle that Wanaka has to offer.

What's In It For You

• Earn $32–$40 per hour, depending on experience
• Starts in July/August, project finish in December
• Weekly pay and consistent full-time hours

‍What You Will Be Doing

• Framing and structural carpentry
• Installing soffits, trims, and skirting
• Formwork and basic concrete duties
• Interior finishing work
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Completing work to a high standard
• Supporting the wider site team where needed

What We Require

• Qualified Carpenter or 3+ years’ relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Confident using power tools and working independently
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Own tools and reliable transport preferred
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Reliable, hardworking, and motivated attitude
