About The Role

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Asphalt Raker to join a busy civil surfacing crew working across Canterbury. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team delivering quality work across roading, subdivisions, and commercial projects. This is hands-on, physical work where your attention to detail and ability to keep up with the pace will set you apart.

What You Will Be Doing

• Raking and levelling hot mix asphalt
• Assisting with asphalt laying and finishing
• Working closely with paver operators and roller drivers
• Ensuring a high-quality finish on all surfaces
• Supporting general site labouring as required
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What We Require

• Proven experience as an Asphalt Raker
• Background in roading or civil surfacing
• Good understanding of asphalt placement and finishing
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team
• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
