‍Max People are looking for Fitters, Welders, Riggers, Industrial Painters and Forklift operators to work on a 10 week project at Tauranga Port. This is a chance to work with some of the best international specialists in the business! Great learning advantages as they will be on hand to advise, support and direct each stage of the project.The project will involve lifting up to 80 tonne beams & preassembly of ground standing legs and carrier beams....and much more!!!

‍What you’ll be doing:‍

• Torque up bolts and assemble according to blue prints
• Prepare, assemble and weld stairs.
• Welders will be required to weld on lifting lugs.
• Premade-Tacking into place and welding fixtures and fitting into place.
• Adapting steel to ensure fitting on site.
• Working at Heights.

‍What we need from you:‍

• Previous experience in this field is required.
• TIG and Arc welding skills required
• MUST have EWP
• MUST have Working at Heights
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Understanding of blueprints will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great time management skills.
• Strong health and safety focus
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
