Site Labourer

About The Role:

‍Max People is seeking dedicated Site Labourers to assist in ensuring the smooth progression of construction projects in Christchurch. By engaging in various tasks and maintaining a safe and productive environment, you'll be instrumental to project success.

‍What You Will Be Doing:‍

1. Site Prep: Help in getting the construction site ready, which includes clearing debris, setting up workspaces, and ensuring safety measures are in check.
2. Handling Materials: Move and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed across the site.
3. Excavation: Take part in digging tasks, like trenches and foundations, using the right tools.
4. Concrete Tasks: Help with concrete-related work, from mixing to pouring and finishing.
5. Assisting Tradespeople: Support tradespeople to ensure projects move along smoothly.
6. Equipment Care: Take care of routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure they're ready for use.

‍Skills & Experience Required:‍

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
• A strong work ethic with a focus on safety.
• Physical fitness for manual tasks.
• A team player who can follow instructions well.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Site safe required.
• Driver's licence and transport are essential.
