‍We’re on the lookout for an experienced Rigger / Steel Erector to join a professional crew delivering commercial and industrial construction projects across Christchurch and Canterbury. If you’re confident working at heights, hold current tickets, and take pride in safe, precise work, this is a great opportunity to secure ongoing employment with respected contractors.

‍What You Will Be Doing

• Steel erection and structural installation

• Rigging and lifting operations

• Working at heights using EWP and fall arrest systems

• Assisting with crane lifts and dogging operations

• Reading lift plans and following site procedures

• Maintaining a safe and tidy worksite

‍What We Require

• Proven experience as a Rigger / Steel Erector

• Confidence and competence working at heights

• Current relevant tickets (Rigging, Working at Heights, EWP)

• Dogman ticket preferred

• Strong understanding of site safety practices

• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude

• Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe – we can assist with this

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
