About The Role:
Are you ready for a unique challenge? We're assembling a top-notch team for an extraordinary project—building an immense Ship-to-Shore Crane at Tauranga Port. This is your chance to work on a one-of-a-kind 50-meter crane alongside the best international specialists in heavy lifting.We are looking for experienced Riggers, Fitters, Welders, and Labourers. Enjoy the best view in the Bay of Plenty as you contribute to lifting up to 80-tonne beams, preassembling ground-standing legs and carrier beams, and assisting with the assembly of main beams, machine house, A-frame, pendant, Derrick boom, and installation of stairs. All roles require comfort in working at heights on a busy site with multiple cranes and sequenced lifts. Blueprint understanding is advantageous for fitters, riggers, and welders.

‍What You Will Be Doing:‍

• Working with cranes – 150 to 300 Ton crane
• Crawler cranes and mobile cranes
• Calculating lifts and stropping according to the lift plan
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely
• Communicating with supervisors by radio to ensure procedures are carried out correctly
• Putting on tag lines
• Ensuring all lifting equipment is correct for weight
• Working at heights
• Observe health and safety protocols on-site.

What Is Required Of You:‍

• MUST have Dogman Riggers Ticket
• MUST have Working at Heights
• MUST have EWP
• Slinging loads 3789
• Previous experience in the industry
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Class 1 driver's license and reliable transport..
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
