Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, including milking, feeding, and caring for cows.
- Monitor and maintain the health and wellbeing of the herd.
- Assist with calving, vaccinations, and general animal husbandry tasks.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in dairy farming or related agricultural work is preferred but not essential. Our farmers are willing to train candidates with a strong passion for farming and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays, as required in the dairy industry.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in various weather conditions.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
