About The Role:
Max People are looking for an experienced Forperson to join a young & enthusiastic team. Our client is a family owned and operated Christchurch based company specialising in concrete construction in the residential, commercial and civil space. You will have Commercial Construction experience, work & lead a team to deliver a variety of concrete projects to a high quality.Projects range from Residential foundation/floor slabs, to Civil foundations, precast and insitu works and Commercial foundation/floorslabs, precast panel manufacture and erection.Take the next step in your career - APPLY NOW!!!

What You Will Be Doing:‍

• Working on the tools
• Providing support and training to your team
• Running a variety of projects efficiently from start to finish  
• Manage and organise staff, sub-contractors and materials
• Installation of precast panels
• Form up foundations & slabs
• Operate machinery Eg: EWP, excavator, roller, power float, Manitou etc
• Manage all quality assurance requirements
• Manage and lead health and safety
• Maintain accurate records of works undertaken

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous commercial experience in the concrete construction space
• Previous experience as a Foreperson
• Able to motivate and organise staff
• Class 1 Drivers License & Reliable transport
• Ability to read & interpret plans & specifications accurately, be able to set-out & build to plan
• Full tool kit
• Strong attention to H&S
• Valid Site Safe - we can assist with this
• Dogman ticket, EWP & WTR would be advantageous
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug & MOJ checks
