Class 5 Driver - Civil Construction (Drainage & Culverts)

About The Role:

Our client is looking for a skilled Class 5 Driver to drive a powerful Hino 700 artic to support their drainage installation project in Halswell. This would suit someone with road ranger experience. You’ll be transporting spoil away from the site and delivering road metal to the construction team. As part of a team committed to excellence, you’ll help ensure the smooth flow of materials on site and contribute to the project's success.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating Class 5 trucks to transport spoil and road metal
• Working closely with the crew to ensure efficient material handling
• Adhering to all site safety protocols
• Assisting with general site tasks as needed

What We Require:

• Full Class 5 license with civil construction experience
• Road Ranger gearbox experience
• Experience with spoil and road metal transport
• Knowledge of site safety regulations
• Good communication skills and teamwork
• Construct Safe or Site Safe certification - we can assist with this
• Strong commitment to H&S
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
