About the Role:
Max People are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers to drive metro delivery runs in Canterbury. You will be serving the supply chain logistics department transporting various products, driving purpose built trucks for this environmentally conscious company.

What you'll be doing: - Driving Class 2 metro trucks locally on Metro Runs
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Transport of finished goods & raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Handling, loading and unloading
- Document and log work
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
What we need from you: - Proven work experience as a Class 2 Truck Driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability & foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Familiar with logbooks & self-managing break times
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & MOJ checks
