Calf Rearer + Milk Harvester

We have 2 roles on a farm between Ashburton and Timaru.On your days off, engage in what nature has to offer and right on your doorstep!

‍About the Role:‍

• Immediate starts!
• Accommodation provided, would suit a couple
• 1 role for a calf rearer for approx. 35 hours per week
• 1 role for a milk harvester - approx. 55 hours per week
• Remuneration $25 per hour
• Accommodation $160 for a couple

Role and Responsibilities:‍

• Assisting with calving and calf rearing on a large scale dairy farm
• Animal health including feeding, giving treatments etc.
• General farm duties
• Milk harvesting, plant wash
• Assisting in the milking shed

‍

Requirements:‍

• You must possess a good level of English
• Willingness to learn
• Legal right to work in NZ (unable to support an AEWV)
• Previous experience with stock is an advantage
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Hold a current and valid drivers license
• Reliable transport
